RESEARCH ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT FAÇADE CONSULTANTS LIMITED is proud of being the pioneer in façade, curtain wall, fire and wind tunnel testing in Hong Kong. We are accredited by both Hong Kong Accreditation Service (HKAS) and China National Accreditation Board for Laboratory (CNAL) for carrying out tests of façade and curtain wall systems as well as fire tests of loadbearing and non-loadbearing building elements.

With the accredited status, our testing and assessment reports are fully recognised by the statutory and regulatory authorities in Hong Kong, and other advanced countries including Australia, China, New Zealand, Singapore, United Kingdom and USA.

RED has two laboratories, one in Sheung Shui, Hong Kong and one in Dawang, Zhaoqing, Guang Dong Province, China. Both laboratories are operated by delicate specialists with doctoral degree in civil and structural engineering and years of experience in advanced testing in building structures and systems.
